This Creature is the best, nosotros took our Pitt balderdash in in that location thinking all she had was a urinary tract infection. Well the Vet came in and told us that if we don't practice an EMERGENCY spay on her she volition die,which they did and she's as healthy as a 7 yr former puppy nosotros tin't thank them enough, ya come across our dog Roxy has been a life saver she has never left my wife'south side ever since she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer vi years ago. I have mixed feelings. I lost my baby here. To be fair she had been in last few years for infections. All the same each fourth dimension shed leave with something new. I cant blame the vet. Simply it was strange and made it difficult. I miss my infant daughter.

The lady vet we had was really kind, and the beau receptionist was equally so. The woman receptionist - not so much! We are low income correct now (my son is sick, and so I had to quit my task to stay home with him), and although the vet was empathetic and helpful, when I called with an emergency for my suffering cat (who was literally screaming in pain), the woman who answered the phone told me that they're trying to sell the business, and they don't need to show whatsoever debt on their books (as I had asked if they could run into him and neb me). On one other occasion, the vet came in on an emergency for 1 of my babies on a holiday weekend, and took intendance of business. Perhaps you just need to make certain your front line is a little more than consistent and compassionate.

This place is mediocre. Waiting expanse is small, but I get not every place tin can have a grand ballroom waiting area. Simply that'southward besides the point... I feel like they were a bit flippant last time I was there. My canis familiaris was chewing himself til he bled. They told me he had a staph infection (of which they did not treat him for) and that he'd have skin allergies all his life. Then suggested I come in every half dozen weeks for a $126 shot. I'm naturally skeptical and dubious so did some enquiry of my own. I switched him to grain free food and he's markedly meliorate. Granted, he still has some issues such as an interdigital cyst and pyoderma, but I didn't have to get bent over for no reason. My point is, they didn't even brand the nutrient a suggestion nor ask nigh it. And so I'm irresolute veterinarians.
Great place to take our fur babies. Whether it is for shots, or illness, and the groomers are great. Have used them for years.

Very satisfied with the care we have received! I have dogs and cats who all have dissimilar ailments from vaccination allergic reactions, to thyroid disorders. They fifty-fifty defenseless an event with 1 of my cats that NUMEROUS other vets take not caught, an issue that has been going on at to the lowest degree 8y that others called anxiety! Will have it when we PCS and have to leave!

The first hospital refused to give me pain killers & clipped his pads. Southwood, gave me the medicine & antibiotics I needed for him to recover & today he'south happy & withal going! I recommend this place to anyone!

Prices were high and the await was a little longer than I'd accept preferred merely overall it was a mediocre experience. So convenient for me given location I wanted it to work so badly but tried other options locally that were better.

I have lived in this area for 6 months and have 2 dogs. ane is constantly needing vet intendance due to allergies. the other is an old small dog that'southward rarely always been sick until I moved to this area. I needed to find a vet to care for the dogs and I thought I had found one. my older domestic dog started acting distressed with neck extended and breathing hard and kind of hunched up. I took him hither and the vet diagnosed him with a back injury and a heart murmur( that I know he didn't accept before) and with heart worms and bad teeth and gave him some pain medication. I was under the impression that all was well so nosotros went back him for Christmas. a 24-hour interval subsequently I had to take him back to a vet I had used for a long time who said that his condition was life threatening and that the previous vet should have defenseless information technology before. and then at present he is at my old vets going on 2 weeks now being treated for eye problems and eye worms. I contacted southwood and all the doctor said was that he was sorry but the dog was information technology showing anymore symptoms at the time to indicate middle problems. long story curt if you move into an area notice a vet you can trust and don't just depend on them to tell you what's going on brainwash yourself too and so that you can tell if something is going wrong.

Honey the folks at Southwood Beast Infirmary! They seem to really care about the animals that come into their facility. There is no horrible smell when you walk in the door, which I really capeesh and it seems very make clean. I was especially grateful when I had to bring my kitten in to be euthanized subsequently he was plant to have a fatal affliction. They were kind and compassionate, giving me the fourth dimension I needed to be ready for his concluding moments. It was extremely hard, but I was able to hold him during the process and I am grateful. Highly recommend!

Recently felt like I needed to change vets. My dog has a chronic urinary disease. This vet has tons of modern equipment that a lot of places don't. She was very affordable and very helpful. She helped my dog in one visit when my other vet kept him for days and charged an arm and a leg. I am so glad I took him there. The vet was a blessing.

We have been using Southwood for 8 years. We honey the techs and the vets there. When we had emergencies they were always fantastic, specially when we lost one of our dogs. At 1 point nosotros had two dogs hospitalized from illness and they were great at doing courtesy calls and working with us on the bill.

You've gotta love a vet office that has its' ain pets roaming around the building. There was the one true cat that had crossed optics and another ane that had only 3 legs. Information technology was more like a shelter home than annihilation else. The vets in that location were awesome in coming in later on their hours to have a look at the dog I brought in that had cut it's center. They took good care of him and he was wagging his tail and ready to go for another motorcar ride shortly thereafter.
